On Saturday 12/09/2026, our respected acting Prime Minister Hon Manoa Kamikamica appealed to the citizens to pray for the nation.
I believe including our country’s leaders in our prayers is crucial. Therefore I chose the prayer’s theme: ‘Integrity, Wisdom, and Servant Leadership.’ Vinaka.
“Heavenly Father,
Today, we present to You our cherished nation of Fiji and, above all, the individuals entrusted with the duty of guiding our country.
Lord, You are aware of every heart. You perceive every intention, every decision, every promise made, and every action taken when no one else is observing.
We implore You to examine the hearts of our leaders and purify them of anything that does not contribute to the common good.

Father, remind our leaders that holding political office is not a privilege for personal enrichment, but a sacred duty to serve the People of Fiji.
Grant them the bravery to pursue what is right, even when it is challenging or unpopular.
Grant them the wisdom to decide not for political gain, personal interests, or influence by powerful individuals. Instead, base decisions on what benefits families, workers, farmers, youth, the elderly, the vulnerable, and Fiji’s future generations.
Lord, we especially pray for those grappling with the increasing cost of living.
Equip our leaders with the wisdom and resolve to create an economy where ordinary families can afford food, housing, education, healthcare, transportation, and the essential needs of life.
Fortify our healthcare system. Safeguard our doctors, nurses, teachers, civil servants, farmers, workers, and all those who serve our communities.
Grant our leaders the courage to confront issues transparently rather than conceal them, and to provide solutions rather than merely make promises.
Amen.”
